Being resident in a seaside town gives plenty of opportunity to fish for sport and for the table. Locally caught fish include Cod, Pollock, Whiting, Tope, Ling, Smooth-hound, Rays, Bass, Bream and Conger. The club house is open to all members, their guests and members of other fishing clubs. In the bar we have a pool table and darts board. Our pool and cribbage teams play in the local leagues. We have a full social program including various entertainers, karaoke, quiz nights and bingo. We also have raffles for fishing rods/reels etc. We pride ourselves on being a family club and children are welcome. The club is committee run with elections held annually. We are affiliated to the NFSA. If you feel that you would like to join us you are welcome to come into the bar during opening hours and pick up a membership application.
